Microsoft says Xbox Series X mini fridge will return in December
Disney delays multiple Marvel movies, including The Marvels and Ant-Man 3
Disney has delayed several major upcoming movies, including Doctor Strange 2, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther 2.
Marvel Phase 4 has been drastically shaken and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been delayed from March 25, 2022 to May 6, 2022, and Thor: Love and Thunder has a release date. Thorquel has been moved back to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s July 8 release slot, while the Black Panther sequel has been moved to November 11, a date held by The Marvels. This Captain Marvel follow-up has been delayed to 2023, while Ant-Man 3 has been moved from February to July 2023.
As a result of the big shakeup, there will be a six-month wait between the upcoming Eternals, which hits theaters in early November, and the next Marvel movie. But don’t worry too much, meanwhile, we’re getting a few new Marvel TV shows on Disney Plus later in November, including Hawkeye.
Other movies that have been delayed by Disney include the next Indiana Jones movie that hits theaters this year. This sequel now arrives on June 30, 2023, inside July 29, 2022 – almost a year late. Like the three untitled Marvel movies, a Disney live-action movie has been dropped from the schedule – though, don’t panic, because Disney is probably just announcing release dates rather than shelving multiple Marvel movies.
All of the above releases will be purely theatrical, rather than the hybrid release strategy used for Black Widow, Cruella, and Jungle Cruise. It seems that while the box office is slowly picking up thanks to blockbusters like Venom 2, No Time To Die, and Halloween Kills, Disney still isn’t ready to go full throttle with their debut.
