Facebook antitrust tests will target obtaining of WhatsApp and Instagram, report says

State and government authorities are apparently planning to bring antitrust charges against the informal community.

A gathering of state lawyers general, driven by New York Head legal officer Letitia James, are on target to record antitrust charges against Facebook toward the beginning of December, as indicated by a report Thursday from the Washington Post. The move comes as the US Government Exchange Commission is likewise apparently concluding its antitrust test into the web-based media goliath.

State and government examiners intend to bring antitrust charges against Facebook over its acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp, claiming that the arrangements “made an enemy of serious long range informal communication juggernaut,” as indicated by the Post.
