Mozilla has implemented the VPN service it offered as a plug-in a while ago. This application, called “Firefox Private Network”, is currently available on Android and Windows platforms. For now, the service available only to US consumers will be available to all users in the future.

Mozilla is one of the most important companies in the internet industry. Although the vast majority of users use Chrome, which was released by Google, Firefox, released by Mozilla, is not at a considerable level. Now, Mozilla has developed a new service that will significantly help users access private internet.

Mozilla’s new service is a new VPN service called “Firefox Private Network: VPN”. Users are only able to access this service, which is currently in beta, in the U.S. However, the Mozilla team announced that their new services will be available in other countries very soon.

Firefox Private Network was available as an add-on to the users’ service months ago. Now the Mozilla team has made the new VPN service a separate application. This app is currently only available on Android and Windows platform. However, the service is expected to be released for iOS and macOS soon.

You need an invitation code to use Mozilla’s new VPN service. In order to receive this invitation code, it is necessary to pay 4.99 dollars (approximately 30 TL) and renew this monthly. In other words, Mozilla does not offer the VPN service free like Opera or the like. Nevertheless, Mozilla demonstrates to the members of the VPN service that they can trust their service by promising a refund within 30 days.

According to the statements made by Mozilla, the company’s new VPN service uses a different protocol than its counterparts. This protocol, called “Wireguard”, is said to be both faster and safer than the protocols used in other VPN services. Mozilla also states that the new VPN service is available for up to 5 devices and you can access servers in more than 30 countries.

Perhaps the most impressive feature of Mozilla’s VPN service is that it does not record any user data. Knowing how much the users care about their internet security, Mozilla explicitly undertakes not to save any data of the users.
