CME, the world’s largest futures exchange, reported on June 17 that the number of open positions in Bitcoin futures peaked.

 

According to the latest data released by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the number of open positions (the number of long and short positions in the market at a given moment) in Bitcoin futures reached the all-time high on June 17th with 5311. 5311 contracts worth a total of 26,555 BTC or about $ 250 million.

 

In December, the number of open positions per day was well below 1000. In the intervening time, this increase shows that Bitcoin‘s interest in corporate investors is growing. CME Group also points out this in the post of Twitter.
