Twitter, the world’s most popular microblogging platform, has removed two videos of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, questioning the strict quarantine measures being implemented due to the coronavirus outbreak, and giving the public a message of ‘normalization’.

Angering many people in the community with his racist, homophobic and sexist statements, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro mobilized Twitter for a series of videos he shared last weekend. Two tweets where an ex-right-wing extreme right-wing Bolsonaro questioned the quarantine measures being implemented to control the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak were removed on Sunday on the grounds that the social network giant violated community rules.

In one of the removed videos, Bolsonaro tells a street vendor, “What I hear from people is that they want to work. There are two things I have said from the beginning: We will be careful and people over 65 will stay at home.” He gives the answer.
